Beautiful Lost Wax Brass Elephant Pendants.... handmade for Funky Frog by the Kokofrom guys in Kumasi. When you think of Africa you think of Elephants! "Elephants are highly intelligent animals with complex emotions, feelings, compassion and self-awareness (elephants are one of very few species to recognize themselves in a mirror!). The literal translation of the word and the symbol is “it is not taboo to fetch what is at risk of being left behind.” The Akan believe the past serves as a guide for planning the future.
