Tiny delicate clay beads from Mali strung on string about 26" long. Each strand is a different assortment of beads.. good idea to get at least two strands to get the full range! The beads range in colour from an off white to dark clay. These were bought directly from a Bead Trader in Ghana, W. Africa. -
There is a small village, Kokofrom just outside Kumasi, Ghana where there are artisans who make lost wax brass beads in the same way as their ancestors. These brass disk were made for Funky Frog. The brass disks are great spacers and give the project something a bit different. These disks are about 1x7-11mm. They are handmade so will vary in size, shape and colour. The artisans use whatever scrap metal they can get their hands on from old taps to pipes to .. but they call it 'brass'. 10 disks / $5 -

This is a mixture of three designs, two are cross hatches and the third is more solid with a circular design. You will get a mix like in the photo. $5/6 beads -

Round Batik Bone Beads in various designs. Three designs to choose from: Evil Eye, White Zig Zag on brown Background and black stripe on white Background. They are on average 23 mm. These beads are handmade so vary in size, shape and colour. You will receive a bead similar to the ones in the photo. These beads were found for Funky Frog by Hidir, a favourite Trader in the Koforidua Market. No animal was killed to make these beads. In Africa everything is put to good use including bones! -
