  • A strand of about 40 gorgeous smoke grey and white Round bone beads from Kenya strung on raffia 24" long. Each bead is about  22 mm. These beads are handmade so will have a lot of variations in colour, shape and size. There are two different styles of beads to choose from: one with carved stripes and the other a smooth. There are now 4 different shapes in this gorgeous grey.

  • A strand of about 40  Brown Bone Beads with an engraved  stripe from Kenya strung on raffia 22" long. There are two variations to choose from: a larger bead with wide apart stripes and a smaller bead with stripes close together.  These beads are handmade so will have variations in colour, design and size between strands.

  • A strand of about 40  Brown Irregular Bone Beads from Kenya strung on raffia 24" long. These beads are an irregular angular shape about 23 mm.  These beads are handmade so will have variations in colour, design and size between strands.
  • A strand of varying sized Coconut Disk Beads. The beads are an average of 15mm. The strand is approx. 32" long.  The Coconut Beads make  great spacer beads and add an earthiness to any project.   • A strand of Sandcast Recycled Glass Beads strung on raffia 32" long. The beads are around 2x7mm and a mix of light and dark yellow. These recycled glass beads were handcrafted in Ghana, Africa by crushing old, discarded glass, adding colorant and then pouring the powder into clay molds. The stem of a local plant is added, this burns away during firing, leaving a hole for stringing. The beads are fired in a wood burning earthen oven. Ghana is famous for this type of bead.
  • 2 strands of Vintage Sandcast Beads mix to choose from. These beads are handcrafted so will vary in size, shape and colour.     A beautiful strand of about 19 ruby red Bohemian Glass beads strung on a strand about 28" long.  These translucent beads were originally made in Czechoslovakia for African Trade. The beads vary in size about 35 mm x 12 mm. The strand you will receive will be similar to the one in the photo but there could be variations. These beads have a lot of history and will show the wear of their storied past.

  • A strand of small yellow button-like Prosser Beads on string 33" long. Each bead is about 6 mm in diameter. These are great spacer beads. Prosser beads are by extension any beads made by the 'Prosser' technique, invented by the Prosser brothers in 1840 in England for the purpose of making buttons. The process consists of molding a cold paste under great pressure and then firing it.
  • A strand of green  button-like Prosser Beads on string 30" long. The beads are varying sizes, around 5 mm to 7 mm. Hole opening around .5 mm.  These are great spacer beads.   • A strand of 35 silver coin metal Mali squashed bicone beads strung on string which measures approximately 12". The beads are approximately 10 mm by 4 mm. Please note that these beads are made by hand out of recycled metal and will vary in shape and size within the strand. The string you will receive will be similar to the one you see in the photo but might have some variations. These beads were found in Koforidua Market in Ghana.
